From SEO Session One Onward

I’ve learned that every step, no matter how small, brings progress.

Each session adds something new, and together they guide me closer to becoming better in SEO.

First Session: Learning, Meeting, and Introduction

Our first session was quite exciting because it was the beginning of our journey into learning search engine optimization. It was also the first time we got to meet each other and our coach virtually, which made the experience feel fresh and new. At first, I felt a little nervous about introducing myself, not knowing how everything would go, but it all turned out smoothly.

Looking back, I realized that just like SEO, the first step might feel intimidating, but once you start, you discover that it’s all about learning, connecting, and growing.

Second Session: Learning From the Past and Exploring Subdomains

Our second session focused on the history of SEO and the concept of subdomains. I prepared myself to learn the basics, but it was quite challenging to follow our coach in real-time because of my slow internet connection. Thankfully, the recorded videos gave me a chance to review and really understand the discussion. What excites me the most are the assignments, since they give us hands-on practice that shows how SEO works in real situations, even if it’s just the basics.

I feel happy and motivated every time I figure out a solution or successfully complete a task—it reminds me that every step, whether it’s learning about SEO’s history or exploring subdomains, is part of building a strong foundation for the future.

Third Session: Discovering Ranking Principles and the Role of AI

Our third session focused on one of the most interesting and modern topics in SEO—AI as a search engine ranking factor. I’ve also learned the principle of SEO’s major ranking factors, which gave me a clearer picture of how search engines decide which pages to rank. It was fascinating to understand how artificial intelligence is now being used to analyze websites, interpret content, and influence rankings. This made me realize that SEO is constantly evolving, and as learners, we need to adapt and grow with these changes.

At first, listening to our coach explain these concepts felt relaxing, almost like I was just soaking up knowledge without pressure. But once the assignments were given, I started to feel nervous. Applying AI-related ranking concepts in practice was challenging, especially at the beginning when I wasn’t sure how to connect what I had just learned. Still, I pushed myself to focus and review the lessons carefully.

Eventually, I managed to figure things out and complete the tasks. Each time I succeed, I feel relieved and proud because I know I’m not only learning the basics but also preparing myself for the future as an SEO specialist, where AI plays a huge role. This session reminded me that learning SEO isn’t just about memorizing techniques—it’s about understanding the principles, adapting to new trends, and building the mindset to keep improving.

Fourth Session: Exploring Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO Practices

I felt a great sense of excitement during our fourth session because we explored several important tools and processes in SEO, such as benchmarking, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, the SEO cycle, and even learning how to handle an SEO client. These topics gave me a deeper understanding of how SEO is not only about optimizing websites but also about tracking performance, analyzing data, and creating strategies based on real results. What excites me the most is when we are given tasks related to these lessons.

Each assignment feels like another opportunity to put theory into practice. For example, learning about benchmarking made me realize how important it is to compare performance with competitors, while Google Analytics and Search Console showed me the value of tracking data to see what’s really working. Understanding the SEO cycle also opened my eyes to how SEO is a continuous process—not just a one-time task. And talking about SEO clients made me imagine how these skills can be applied in real projects. It’s not just about listening to the lessons, but actually applying them that makes the learning experience powerful. Every new challenge makes me feel like I’m improving step by step in my SEO journey, preparing myself for the future where I can confidently use these tools and processes in real-world scenarios.

Fifth Session: Learning the Core of SEO Foundations

In our fifth session, we focused on some of the most essential foundations of SEO: sitemap, indexing, keyword research, and keyword mapping. These lessons really stood out to me because they showed how search engines discover, understand, and organize website content. Learning about sitemaps and indexing made me realize how important it is to guide search engines properly so our pages can actually appear in search results. Without this step, even the best content might go unseen. Another part that excited me was keyword research and mapping. It felt like solving a puzzle—finding the right words people are searching for and then connecting them to the right pages. This process made me understand how strategy and planning play a huge role in SEO. What also made this session memorable was checking our tasks.

I was excited to see if I had done everything correctly, though I also noticed areas where I needed to pay closer attention, especially to instructions. Still, everything turned out fine, and I see it as a reminder that SEO, much like learning, is a process of constant growth and improvement.
